An experienced executive and thought leader, Dr. Michael Butcher brings more than 20 years of experience in organizational leadership, technology strategy and higher education. His work focuses on helping organizations harness the power of artificial intelligence to drive operational efficiency, and elevate decision-making that powers innovation and adaptability.

A skilled strategist and educator, Dr. Butcher has designed and led initiatives that integrate AI solutions into complex institutional systems. He has held senior leadership roles in higher education, where he co-led institution-wide initiatives on AI strategy and governance that established ethical use principles and implemented AI literacy training programs.

Dr. Butcher has worked with a wide range of organizations to advance their understanding and application of AI, including:

• Serving as an advisory board member for CareerOS, an AI-powered career services platform, providing strategic guidance on integrating AI to enhance workforce readiness and organizational development.
• Delivering keynote addresses and sessions at national and regional conferences, including the Georgia Association of Colleges & Employers (GACE), the Southern Association of Colleges and Employers (SoACE) Employer Relations Summit, the Georgia Council for Human Resources (GCHR), and the Alabama Association of Colleges and Employers (AACE).
