Strategic Leadership Development
For senior leaders crossing the strategic threshold.
Most senior leaders rise on operational excellence and stall when the work turns strategic. This program builds the versatile range that distinguishes enterprise leaders from highly competent functional ones. Anchored in the patented Leadership Versatility Index.
The challenge
A senior leader who got promoted on operational excellence is often, by the time they reach the C-suite, overdeveloped on one side of the leadership equation. Forceful when they need to be enabling. Operational when the work has turned strategic. The point is not to swap one for the other — the point is to build the versatile range that lets the leader do both, on the day the situation calls for it.

How we work
A diagnostic, developmental, validated arc.
- 01
Diagnose
The Leadership Versatility Index 360 at the start. Each participant gets a defensible read on where they sit on the forceful-enabling, strategic-operational, and short-long horizon dimensions.
- 02
Develop
A cohort of eight to twelve senior peers. Six to nine months of half- and full-day sessions on strategy formulation, capital allocation, cross-functional execution, and board-level communication. Ongoing one-on-one coaching between sessions.
- 03
Validate
A post-program LVI measures the versatility shift. The participant leaves with a documented development plan and a defensible read on their next role.
What changes
By the end of the engagement
- Measurable shift in leadership versatility on the LVI
- Strategic thinking that holds up at board level
- Operating discipline that does not get lost in the strategy
- A documented development plan the participant can run
Frequently asked
What clients ask before they engage.
- What is leadership versatility?
- The disciplined balance between forceful and enabling leadership, between strategic and operational thinking, and between short-term and long-term horizons. It is the dimension on which most senior leaders are uneven — and the dimension on which the LVI was specifically built to measure progress.
- How is this different from a generic leadership program?
- It is built around the LVI’s diagnosis of each participant’s actual range, not a general curriculum. Sessions are anchored in the specific tensions the cohort is navigating, and the coaching component closes the individual gaps the LVI surfaced.
- Is the program in-person or virtual?
- Most engagements are hybrid. In-person sessions are denser and richer; virtual flexibility lets distributed teams participate without travel friction.
